I had the most wonderful experience staying at Bucoleon by Cheers. From the moment I arrived, I was made to feel like family. A heartfelt thank you to Elif, the kind and gentle caretaker, whose warm smile and helpful nature made every day brighter. And a big shoutout to the manager, Mr. Ergun – so soft-spoken, friendly, and genuinely caring. They both went out of their way to ensure everything was perfect. Special thanks to the young and charming owner – such a positive and energetic soul! His hospitality and welcoming nature truly reflect the heart of this beautiful property. Every corner of the hotel felt cozy, peaceful, and full of character. I didn’t feel like a guest; I felt like I was at home. Highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Istanbul – it’s not just a stay, it’s an experience! 🌟

Location was great. Room was comfortable although no towel rail. It is not obvious on booking but the accommodation is spread over 3 properties near to each other. We were across the quiet road from the building where breakfast was served which meant it was quite. Breakfast was a set plate every morning so you knew what to expect plus tea & coffee.

The place is very clean and the owner of the hotel is a nice and humble person. As for the staff, they are very nice and helpful people, especially the girl who sits at the reception, Yuna, and Qadr and Atiya, the big man, and also Sherifa who serves clean and tidy food. I don’t know the rest of the names, but they are really nice... I found it to be the best hotel in the Sultanahmet area, and I don’t deny that there is a difference between the picture of the breakfast on the internet and the breakfast served, but in general it is clean and good. There is a comfortable beds and cooling. The price is very commensurate with the service. I took a shared room.

The staff was amazing, people are lovely, you get to meet people from all over the world, what a great experience! I especially liked Nargiz who is a hard working lady, she does pretty much everything and take’s care of everyone and Mhmet is great too, all the staff are good

The staff were super friendly and kind, and always happy - Kay in particular was always helpful & has excellent English. Great breakfast. The rooms & bathroom are really really clean - this hostel has a superb cleaner! I was in the female dorm which is bright, spacious, nicely decorated & feels secure. The beds are comfy, & they have nice crisp white bed linen & warm duvets (perfect in winter).

Staying at Bucoleon by Cheers was an absolute delight! From the moment I arrived, I was greeted by a friendly and supportive staff who went above and beyond to ensure my stay was comfortable. The breakfast provided was simply amazing, offering a delicious start to each day of exploration. I cannot recommend this hostel highly enough – a solid 10/10! Not only is the hostel fantastic, but its prime location near the Blue Mosque and Hagia Sophia makes it the perfect base for exploring Istanbul. Its accessibility adds to its charm, making it easy to navigate the city's sights and sounds. Overall, my experience at Bucoleon by Cheers was outstanding, and I would gladly return in the future. Highly recommended for anyone looking for an unforgettable stay in Istanbul!

I liked how friendly the hosts were. They do their best to make their guests comfortable. Beds were comfortable. Location is amazing. Breakfast was good and it is Turkish breakfast.

Very well-kept hotel room, wonderful, attentive staff and a dreamy atmosphere. The view from the terrace is beautiful. The host, Elif was very kind, refreshing and full of life. Melek, was nice and always came to welcome us, offering impeccable service.

I had a great stay at Bucoleon by Cheers hostel in Istanbul. The location is excellent, right in the heart of the Sultanahmet district, just a short walk from the Blue Mosque and Hagia Sophia. The hostel has a bar and a common area where guests can relax and socialize. The rooms are spacious and clean and there is a breakfast buffet served every morning. The staff at Bucoleon by Cheers are friendly and helpful, and they really go out of their way to make sure that guests have a good time. Jay, in particular, was great at organizing activities for everyone, and he always made sure that there was something to do. I would definitely recommend Bucoleon by Cheers hostel to anyone looking for a great place to stay in Istanbul. It is a great value for the price, and the staff and facilities are top-notch.
